Business Phone Calling Features

With Sparklight Business, you can access and manage features online or through your business phone line. Sparklight Business customers with admin credentials can log into the MyPhone Portal and click “My Features” tab and then the Phone Settings Link to configure features. 

Standard Plan Features

Anonymous Call Rejection

Reject a caller that has explicitly restricted his/her number.

Using the phone, dial *77 to activate; *87 to deactivate.

Call Forwarding Always

Automatically forward all your incoming calls to a different phone number.

Using the phone, dial *72 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; *73 to deactivate.

Call Forwarding Busy

Automatically forward all your incoming calls to a different phone number.

Using the phone, dial *90 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; *91 to deactivate.

Call Forwarding No Answer

Automatically forward your calls to a different phone number when you do not answer your phone after a certain number of rings.

Using the phone, dial *92 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; *93 to deactivate.

Call Forwarding Not Reachable

Automatically forward calls to a different phone number when your phone is unreachable.

Using the phone, dial *94 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; *95 to deactivate.

 

Do Not Disturb

Automatically forward your calls to your voice messaging service, if configured, otherwise the caller hears a busy tone.

Using the phone, dial *78 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; *79 to deactivate.

External Calling Line ID Delivery

Provides Calling Line ID information of an external caller.

Internal Calling Line ID Delivery

Provide Calling Line ID information of group or enterprise member when called.

Call Return

Return a call to the last party that called you, whether or not the call was answered.

Using the phone, dial *69 to call the last party that called you.

Line ID Blocking

Prevent your phone number from being displayed when calling other numbers.

Using the phone dial *67 on a per call basis to activate; dial *31 to activate for all calls; Dial #31 to deactivate for all calls.

Speed Dial 8

Dial a pre-defined number by dialing only one digit.

Using the phone dial *74 and follow the instructions to set up Speed Dial 8.

Speed Dial 100

Dial a pre-defined number by dialing a Speed Dial 100 prefix and two digits.

Using the phone dial *75 and follow the instructions to set up Speed Dial 100.

Call Waiting

This service notifies a subscriber that a second call is on the line and allows the subscriber to switch between the calls. The called party is notified by a tone when the call is waiting.

Customer Originated Trace

Issue a call trace for the last incoming call.

Using the phone dial *57 to originate a trace.

Three-Way Call

Create a three-way conference call using your phone.

Call Transferring

This service allows the subscriber to transfer an incoming call to any phone number of their choice.

Call Forwarding Selective

Automatically forward calls when pre-defined criteria, such as phone number, time of day or day of week, are met.

Using the phone, dial #76 to activate; enter a forwarding phone number; dial #77 to deactivate.

CommPilot Express

Manage incoming calls using four available profiles. Each has a separate configuration for call handling.

Selective Acceptance Accept calls when pre-defined criteria, such as phone number, time of day or day of week, are met.
Selective Rejection Reject calls when pre-defined criteria, such as phone number, time of day or day of week, are met.
Sequential Ring  Ring multiple phones sequentially when calls are received.
Simultaneous Ring Ring multiple phones simultaneously when calls are received such as the office line and a cell phone.
Personal Phone List Create a personal phone list to create a list of frequently dialed phone numbers dialed from the CommPilot Call Manager.
N-Way Call Create a conference call with more than three parties using your phone or the CommPilot Call Manager.
Voicemail This service is optional and can be customized to suit your business. It allows you to access voice messages and change personal options such as recording your name, setting up a personal greeting and more.
