Cable ONE Partners with Outdoor Sportsman Group to Feed the Less Fortunate

Pascagoula, MS

Cable ONE and Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks (Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network) are teaming up to host a Hunt.Fish.Feed. lunch on Wednesday, September 7 to feed the less fortunate members of the Pascagoula community.

Hunt.Fish.Feed. is a national campaign created by the Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks in 2007 toeducate the public about using natural resources to help combat nationwide hunger. The campaign hosts an annual tour which visits local cities and serves meals to the homeless and hungry. The menu will include Venison tacos with all the trimmings, black beans, Spanish rice, seasonal fruit, fruit punch and milk.

Scott Leysath, Executive Chef and star of Sportsman Channel's The Sporting Chef and Cable ONE associates will be on hand at Our Daily Bread to serve lunch at 11 a.m. to approximately 150 members of the community. 

In addition, Cable ONE has collected more than $1,600 in supplies and monetary donations to donate to Our Daily Bread, a local non-profit whose mission is to feed the unemployed, homeless, and older people who are unable to feed themselves.  Serving Gautier, Moss Point, and Pascagoula, Our Daily Bread is run on monetary donations and donations of canned goods, meat, vegetables, Styrofoam serving trays and plastic cutlery.
