Cable ONE was recently ranked by PC Magazine as one of the top 10 fastest Internet Service Providers (ISP)in the nation for the third year in a row.
PC Magazine, the leader for rigorous, labs-based comparative reviews of computing, consumer electronics, business technology, and Internet products, tested ISP’s from January 2013 through September 2013, via Speedtest.net - the standard for testing Internet connection speed around the globe. Results of the test placed Cable ONE in the top 10, while competitors AT&T and CenturyLink did not make the top 10.
Cable ONE offers customers speeds ranging from 50Mbps to 70Mbps - ideal for streaming multiple movies or videos at the same time, offering more power for online games, and giving customers the ability to share photos in the blink of an eye.
In June, Cable ONE discontinued data plans with overage charges, allowing customers a 300GB data guideline for its 50Mbps plan. The company also launched new 60 and 70Mbps plans with even higher data guidelines. Upload speeds were recently increased as well – the Streaming 50Mbps plan now has a 3Mbps upload speed; the 60Mbps Premier plan has been upgraded to a 4Mbps upload speed; and the 70Mbps Ultra Plan has been upgraded to a 6Mbps upload speed. Upload speed was formerly 2Mbps across these plans.
“Cable ONE is honored to be recognized by PC Magazine again this year as one of the fastest Internet providers in the country,” said Joe Felbab, Cable ONE Vice President of Marketing. “Our customers are spending more time online than ever before and have voiced the need for faster service and no overage charges. We’re committed to listening to our customers and delivering the latest products and technical advancements while maintaining the highest level of reliability and customer care.”
